Indonesia – Kupang

K-PACT International is focusing on the following ministries in our mission field in Kupang, Indonesia:

Mission Trips: We have plenty of short term mission trip opportunities throughout the years.

Food Ministry

Medical/Dental Ministry

Children/Adults Ministry: We are running worship services, bible studies, beyond basic educational programs, VBS and awana progarms.

House of Joy: We are building new facility for House of Joy children home (orphanage), and it should be completed by the end of 2008. It can house 40 children. We currently have 23 children.

House of Hope: We currently have 20 children in the House of Hope (orphanage).

Business Workshop & TKI/Job Trainings Trainings basic job and skills to farm, crafts, attain jobs or start a small business.

Pig Project: There are about 20 piglets ready to be adopted by about 10 families. These are families that have been trained to raise thesepiglets. However, there is always need to provide them with some funds to help raised these piglets in a healthy environment. They are from poor families and it is our goal for each of them to excel in this project —and in the long run it is our hope that they will be able to start raising their own pig farms. This ministry has helped over 100 families in the past 2 years.

Well Project:  Now is local dry season – which is a good sign to start digging. Pray that we would be able to raise enough fund for digging, water pump and building water tower. The goal of this project is to provide K-PACT center with its own water supply. And, at the same time we want to build a model of water system for our surrounding area without depending on government based water supply. They are expensive to get to our center location

STTIK/STII: Christian & Missionary Alliance Seminary and Evangelical Christian College.

K-PACT Christian Center: Praise the Lord that we had made our final payment in July for this land of 30,585 M2. We plan to have 3 phases in this Christian Center: Children home, training facility and business development program. The estimate cost for phase I (children home for 40 kids) is US$150,000. We pray that we can start and complete this children home in 2009.
